ANM operates an electronic trip ticket system for freshwater commercial harvest today — built on FWC's own VESL data standard, with every filed ticket sealed into a tamper-evident ledger that agencies can read and independently verify.
The workflow mirrors the saltwater trip ticket: the wholesale dealer files the ticket. Harvesters just phone their catch ahead so the paperwork is done before the truck arrives.

Each accepted ticket is hashed into an append-only chain. Nothing can be edited or deleted after filing — alterations break the chain and are immediately detectable.

Agency LedgerIn February 2026 FWC held public workshops on expanding VESL electronic trip tickets to all freshwater commercial fishing. That expansion has not yet advanced — so ANM built the equivalent, privately funded, using FWC's published trip ticket code tables.
Documented harvest is the foundation of everything ANM does: a filed trip ticket is proof that nitrogen and phosphorus physically left an impaired waterbody, which is what a nutrient credit certifies under 62-306 F.A.C. The ledger seals that proof.
Agencies don't have to take our word for it. The verification guide and an offline verifier are available to agency reviewers — export the ledger, run the verifier, confirm every hash independently. When FWC's freshwater VESL program goes live, ANM's records are structured to feed straight into it.
